Fees & Availability
Initial Intake: $250 per 60 minute session
On-going Session: $200 per 53-60 minute session
* You may request a free complimentary 30 minute meet & greet session to ensure we are a good fit.
Payment: Payment is due at the beginning of each session; unless otherwise negotiated. I accept all forms of payment.
Phone Calls/Letters: I charge a fee (see fee scale below) for any phone calls with clients or collateral contacts (ie. school counselors, teachers, doctors, CASA and/or social worker, etc) based on the amount of time spent on the call. Letters are a flat fee. Please note that insurance companies will not reimburse for phone contact or letters and thus is considered an out of pocket expense. Therefore, I do my best to discuss this beforehand, however, there may be times when I am not able to do so. Please be aware of any charges that may occur.
Meetings: Attending meetings with schools, doctors, other providers etc. is $150 per hour. Please note again that insurance companies will not reimburse for meetings and thus is considered an out of pocket expense
Openings: I am in the office Monday’s, Tuesday’s, Wednesday’s, and Thursday’s between the hours of 1:30pm (first appt) to 5:30pm (last appt). Please inquire about what specific days/times are available for new clients.
Insurance: I am currently in network with First Choice Health and Premera insurances. I accept and bill all other major insurance companies as an "out-of-network" provider. Please check with your insurance company to determine your out-of-network benefits. It is likely your insurance company will cover a portion of the cost.
When speaking with your insurance provider, you may consider asking the following:
*Do I need prior approval/referral from my primary care physician?
*How many outpatient mental health sessions are covered per year?
*Is family therapy covered? If so, is a mental health diagnosis for one member required for reimbursement?
*What is my deductible and has is been met?
*What is my reimbursement rate for an out-of-network provider?
*Where can I find the form necessary to submit my own medical claim for reimbursement?
Sliding Scale: As best I can, I try to reduce any financial barriers when it comes to receiving services. A reduction of fees on a sliding scale model is available, is determined on a case-by-case basis, and is subject to availability.
Cancellations: Please provide 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Late cancellations (within 23-0 hrs of scheduled session) will be charged a fee based on how close it is to your scheduled appointment ranging from $75-$150. Please be aware that insurance companies will not reimburse for any cancellation fees and therefore this will be an out of pocket expense.
No call/No show: $150
Again, please be aware that insurance companies will not reimburse for any no show fees and therefore this will be an out of pocket expense.
